Washington’s Farewell

Last month’s anniversary of Washington’s emotional Farewell to his Officers in the Long Room was celebrated right here at Fraunces Tavern Museum! Visitors had the chance to interact with General Washington himself, who reenacted the famous emotional farewell in the Long Room, as well as participate in docent-led tours, create their own Abigail Adams desserts, and took a step back in time with the Colonial Photobooth!

Check out some of the highlights from this event!
