On February 20, over 100 people gathered at the Union League Club to celebrate George Washington’s birthday and support Fraunces Tavern Museum. Guests were greeted and accompanied by the Knickerbocker Greys, the 3rd New Jersey Regiment of Captain Bloomfield’s Company, and bagpipers, The RoyalPiper Al Gonzales and Pipe Major Jim Higgins.
Beth L. Hill, President and CEO of Fort Ticonderoga Association graciously accepted this year’s Distinguished Patriot and spoke of the responsibilities of historical preservation.
